		CFD – Hydrodynamic Engineering ibmv offers an extensive range of maritime CFD services based on both RANS simulation and BEM calculations. The CFD process at ibmv is integrated with CAD for rapid CAD clean-up to reduce the model to only the surfaces necessary for CFD. Alternatively, ibmv can proceed with 2D drawings detailing profiles and sections to first create a 3D surface model in CAD. (more)
		FEA – Structural Engineering A complete range of structural engineering services is offered by ibmv, based on FEA from linear static analysis to the dynamic behaviour of maritime structures; including engineering with composite materials. We have an integrated FEA process from 3D CAD through meshing to analysis. Alternatively, we can work from 2D drawings, first creating a 3D solid model containing only the details necessary for FEA before proceeding through our integrated process. The range of FEA services available from ibmv includes linear and non-linear static behaviour, dynamic calculations, and the engineering of lightweight composite structures. (more)
